About me

Johannes von Vopelius-Feldt, MSc MRCEM, MD

I am an Emergency Medicine Registrar with an interest in prehospital care and research, based in Bristol, UK.

Research focus

Prehospital critical care has the potential to improve outcomes for the most unwell of our patients, by providing highest standards of care in the prehospital environment. However, research and guidelines to optimise pre-hospital critical care are lacking.

In my research over the last few years, I explored issues relating to critical care paramedics, prehospital anaesthesia and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

In 2016 I was awarded an NIHR doctor research fellowship to study prehospital critical care for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
